Seow Hock Peng is an Advocate & Solicitor. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London; a Master of Laws from the University of Malaya; and a PhD in Laws from the International Islamic University Malaysia. He currently has his own private practice, specialising in corporate and securities law; and sub-specialising in the law on investment trust and alternative fund raising. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at the Faculty of Accountancy, Finance & Business, Tunku Abdul Rahman University College. He has written and published two books, namely Recoverability of Economic Loss in Malaysia (2017, IIUM Press) and Interest Schemes Law in Malaysia (2018, UM Press). He is also the co-author and editor of the Companies Commission of Malaysia’s Interest Schemes Blueprint 2020-2024: New Vision Structure on National Shared Prosperity (2019, SSM).
