About The Author

Toh Siew Pat is an author and HRD Corp certified and accredited trainer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) degree from the University of London in 1993 and is a certified Maxwell leadership coach, trainer, and speaker.

He started his career in 1977 as a police inspector with the Royal Malaysian Police. In 1991, he transitioned to the private sector, assuming the security manager position. He further advanced his career in 1995 by taking on the role of a human resources manager. Since then, he has successfully led several public listed companies’ human resource and administration departments until his retirement in 2020.

In 2020, he was awarded the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara (PJPN), an esteemed honour bestowed upon him in recognition of his invaluable services to the nation.His passion for public speaking and training flourished in 2004 when he was invited to speak at a conference. Since then, he has embarked on a journey of conducting numerous in-house and public training programs while also assuming the roles of chairperson and speaker at various public conferences and seminars. He also speaks in various seminars organised by various State Industrial Relations Departments and State Labour Departments.

From 2007 to 2011, Toh served as the facilitator for the Certificate in Human Resource Management (CHRM) and Diploma in Human Resource Management (DHRM) programs at the Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM).
