Webinar On Maritime Law Maritime Specialist Series: Handling Shipping & Admiralty Claims in Court and Arbitration

CLJ’s Webinar Specialist Series on Maritime Law covers key aspects of Maritime Law and its practical application. Participants will be able to learn and grasp, among others, critical aspects of Maritime cases in Admiralty and Shipping, Marine Insurance Litigation, Ship Arrest and how to conduct Arbitration hearings. In collaboration with Sabah Law Society (SLS) and Advocates Association Sarawak (AAS), this two part series will be addressed by an established Practitioner and Maritime Arbitrator of 30 years standing who authored the key original Practitioners Texts on Maritime Law.

Philip Teoh heads the Shipping & Admiralty Practice of Azmi & Associates. He has over 30 years of legal practice in Singapore and Malaysia. He is an International Arbitrator with the key Maritime Arbitration Centres of LMAA SCMA EMAC Dubai as well as AIAC ICC LCIA KCAB and other International Arbitration Centres. He authored the key (Original) Practitioners Texts eg Halsbury’s Laws of Malaysia on Equity Conflict of Laws as well as the Shipping Titles. He argued the Inaugural reported decision of the Admiralty Court and he acts as Counsel at all levels of Malaysian Courts up to the apex Federal Court.

Timothy Lim Teng is a Partner in David Allan Sagah & Teng. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and subsequently completed his Professional Legal Studies. Timothy is currently practicing in the area of general civil litigation and commercial law.

(5) A digital E-Certificate will be sent via e-mail to registered participants within 7 (seven) working days from the
date of the respective Webinar session.

(6) The Speaker Notes will be provided via e-mail to participants within 3 (three) working days from the date
of the respective Webinar Session.

REFUND POLICY
